FirstOrchestra needs you!

If you play violin, viola, cello or bass, come join us!

We are a volunteer string group (violin, viola, cello, bass) that plays challenging but do-able classical music. Since we are new, we have yet to establish a certain "level" of player. Our mission is just to selfishly play music we like.

There is no age level, but players need to play at least at a basic level, and take instruction well. Since a minimum number of players are needed, we expect some commitment from you, and not just pop in sporadically.

There will be a semester fee to pay for copies, marketing and administration costs.

We'll have guest conductors for a while. We expect you will have fun playing, get better, and make new friends.

For children and youth, we recommend New Conservatory of Dallas.
